Ho Chi Minh City 17.03. – 19.03.
Ein neues Land und neue Eindrücke prasselten auf uns ein als wir morgens um 7 in Saigon angekommen sind. Was als erstes auffiel? Wie viel weniger schwül die Luft ist! Im Vgl. zu Kerala kann man hier atmen 😉 Nach einer Runde Schlaf haben wir uns direkt auf den Weg gemacht um den guten Moritz zu treffen! Zufälligerweise ist er genau am selben Tag auch hier gewesen <3 Er ist mittlerweile Vietnam-Profi, weil er schon einen Monat hier unterwegs war. Das war schön um ein wenig vor Ort von seinen Eindrücken zu hören. Unsere erste Amtshandlung: in ein fettes Hotel im 47. Stock ins Pool schmuggeln (Danke DHL-Robert für die Empfehlung). Niemand hat uns nach unserer Zimmernummer gefragt und wir wurden einfach durch gewunken. Der Aufzug in den siebenundvierzigsten Stock fuhr uns zügig hoch und boom! SoNnENuNtErGaNg über Ho Chi Minh City… so viel Smog haben wir auch noch nicht gesehen. So viel, dass die Sonne nicht am Horizont unterging, sondern hinter dem ganzen Rauch/Abgas/Staub verschwand.
Mini Plastikhocker und -tische sind echt ein Ding hier!
Abends eskaliert die Stadt nochmal auf ein anderes Level der Unentspanntheit…
In Ho Chi Minh City waren wir im Museum über den Vietnamkrieg. Dort gab es viel Fotografie zu sehen + was kann man sagen? Beschissene Sache ist das.
Wir freuen uns aus der Stadt mal rauszukommen und melden uns von dort.
